A poem
By Oseyi Omokhoa I say that I love You, Because You loved me first, Then why do I run, when tough times come, Why do I hide from Your light in my shame, When I know You died to save me from my pain I say that I love you, When times are smooth, When I feel Your presence around me like a hug, But when clouds hide Your light, And the path starts to twist and wind, Why do I feel like You’ve left me behind? Is it because I forget Your promises? Is it because a fog of doubt stops me from seeing You, Or is it because my faith is fickle? Lord I know I love You, But please help me to remember just how much, That in the dark times You will be my crutch, And in the good times in You I will trust, But for now I will say, Thank You Jesus, Because I now know that Your light is always there, Even when I am gripped with fear, Or when I am smiling from ear to ear, Your loving light shines on me, And I see the beauty of Your Wor...
